SUPPORT
The diagnosis of breast cancer is scary, life changing and can be
devastating. The emotional and physical stress on the patient and the
family could be overwhelming. The need for surgery, possible chemotherapy
and radiation and their effect on the patient and their ability to interact
with the family comes into play.
Fortunately, with all the different modalities available to us today,
most of the patients will recover and have a full normal life after
the completion of the treatment.
Our dedicated volunteers / cancer survivors are the testimonial to
the above statement. They are willing to share their personal experience
with patients and their families at this difficult time and help them
with the decision-making process. They provide support during the entire
course of the treatment and recovery process.
